A student must first apply to UW Oshkosh in order to be admitted to the Honors College. Students with a high school GPA of 3.75+ who earn a composite score of 26 or higher on the ACT will automatically receive an invitation to join the Honors College.  Also, students with a high school GPA of 3.50+ who earn a composite score of 29 or higher on the ACT will automatically receive an invitation to join the Honors College.  These students need only to return the Honors invitation postcard to the Honors College Office (Oviatt House) to accept the invitation.

High school seniors who are not automatically invited to participate in Honors are welcome to apply for admission. Applications should include a letter of interest explaining one’s academic achievements and plans for graduation as well as the name and contact information of a reference. Students admitted in this way typically fall just short of the qualifications described above.

Applications should be sent to the address below or emailed to carlin@uwosh.edu.
